EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Album Description As evidenced by the title, the Vandals haven't grown up at all on their 5th album, Live Fast Diarrhea. Neither their humor nor their musical skills have developed past the junior high level, as they still pound out three-chord punk at a fast clip, shouting out vulgarities. Features the tracks 'Let The Bad Times Roll', 'And Now We Dance' and more. A Nitro Records. |

| Regarding Soup of the Day by Harry W. Whitaker 5 Stars May 01, 2007 Have any of you heard Crass? This is supposed to sound like Crass or RP or any of the other Crass Label bands. Do your research, damnit.
| | Why I Haven't given up on punk by Colin J. Koran (Dee-troit, mi, USA) 4 Stars January 24, 2007 Lately, my interest in punk has been at its absolute lowest. So much of it is poppy, whiny stuff with no personality. This album, though, keeps entertaining me. First, theres the cover, featuring a drawing of a man shooting at an airplane. Politically incorrect, true to punk's roots. Open it up, what do we find? Ridiculous drawings of things like a punk vomiting, feces, and someone getting run over by a steamroller. Already we see it isn't something to take too seriously. And thats why its so great. There is no shortage of silly humor and unusual topics (G.E Smith as scary neighbor, mustaches representing communism, a reference to Jack Palances push-ups, the list goes on). This music is fun, funny, and chuckle-inducing. Don't take it too seriously. Just enjoy it. And I havent even gotten started on the actual music. These guys can play FAST with great precision. Some of the slower songs toward the end leave a little bit to be desired, but most of the album as a whole is quite brilliant.
| | Best CD ever by James P. Robinson (New Jersey) 5 Stars October 27, 2005 i decided to write this because i saw a few people saying that this wasnt that great for the Vandals and that soup of the day was a bad song. they're wrong, this is one of the top albums of all time, and soup of the day is an amazing song, anyone who disagrees is a complete idiot. The Vandals are my favorite band but the only two albums that even come close to this one are Oi! To the World, and Hollywood Potato Chip. thats all.
| | abslolutely hilarious by joehiphophead (Kansas city) 5 Stars September 19, 2005 even though I listen to mostly Hiphop i enjoy a good punkrock/metal album once and a while. This album is a grade A classic with song titles like power mustache and live fast diarrhea you know what to expect. I used to listen to all punk rock but got tired of listening to the same four chords from every band and hearing the same trite lyrics about the government gets a little old after a while. The vandals are one of the only bands beside the Bad Brains and Avail that I can stand this and any of the other vandals albums up to hitler bad vandals good are highly recomended.
| | I don't like to change my pants either. by STF (St. Louis) 4 Stars November 11, 2004 Alot of Vandals cds will have some great songs on it, but then there are some that... well, suck. Just simply terrible and horrific. The only reason this cd isn't one my favorites is the last song, "Soup of the Day." The song is so bad, it actually angers me. Either because it's just that bad or it just ruins the cd that much. Either way, easily one of, it not Vandals best.

| Hitler Bad, Vandals Good by The Vandals
The Vandals are way past their angst filled 'Suburbia' days. Now, with their album 'Hitler Bad, Vandals Good', they just want to make people laugh. Surprisingly, The Vandals have a nice balance of both with songs like 'My Girlfriend's Dead' with lyrics that go - 'My girlfriend's dead you see, it's a total lie- but it's easier on me than having to admit that she likes someone else.' Then there's 'I've Got An Ape Drape, 'which throws out a plethora of adjectives for the short on top long...
