| Northern Lights by Helen Isreal (Gardiner, MT, USA) 5 Stars May 22, 2009
This musical CD is absolutely the best for unwinding and quiet time. Each selection is unique and the composers and artists are obviously very talented. I am very, very happy with it.
| | Relaxation Anyone? by Dr. House (Ponce, PR) 5 Stars January 02, 2009 This is by far one of my favorite albums to meditate, read or simply enjoy time and space. This album has a soft introduction which settles a mood for whats to come. By the middle of the album you get so relaxed that I read without thinking on anything else. Two thumbs Up!!
| | Contemplation compilation by Robert Anderson (Provo, UT United States) 5 Stars November 24, 2008 I found this album quite pleasant. As a collection it succeeds in bringing together many different artists, yet selecting specific pieces that all blend together into a very smooth and impressively melodic compilation. The name says it all.
| | 2 Stars for the Album, 5 stars for Urmus Sisak's Work by Brittany (Austin) 3 Stars March 20, 2008 I heard Dominus Vobiscum on XM radio this morning and found myself just sitting down and meditating on the spot. Meditation is something I've started reading about but could not see myself doing though I knew I'd try somehow. Music like this makes meditation possible for anyone even those with totally undisciplined minds like mine. I've listened to the samples, and I'll buy this album but only for the 3 pieces by Urmus Sisak. He'll never know what this experience meant to me. One note: I only remembered the name "Sisak" and the word "Contemplation" and began my determined search for this music. Given that he is a composer and part of a compilation from various artists, what do you think the chances should have been that I would find his Dominus Vobiscum with that little information? His name never came up in a search. It must be true that if you are sincere, doors or paths do open. Just listen...
| | je ne sais quoi by mrrena-com 5 Stars July 02, 2005 The music on this CD is hauntingly beautiful and much of it fills me with strange and wistful longings--a sort of "happy sadness," perhaps correspondent to the German concept of Sehnsucht.

This disc must be intended for insomniacs; it has that three-in-the-morning feel. The single movements featured are for the most part well performed. And some are decidedly off the beaten track, like Wojciech Kilar's Death and the Maiden (no relation to Schubert's) from the soundtrack to the movie, Paulina's Secret. And we also get English horn player Thomas Stacy doing the solo from the slow movement of Dvorák's New World Symphony with the New York Philharmonic. Also, there is violinist...

| Slow World by Liquid Mind
Slow World is the second album of deep relaxation music by Liquid Mind, the name used by Los Angeles composer & songwriter Chuck Wild for his series of very slow stress relief music albums. My Liquid Mind albums seem to have an immediate "slowing down" effect onlisteners, and may help people get to sleep, or to calm down after a tension-filled day. uninterrupted relaxation, the ideal companion for those working long hours at computers terminals who suffer from the effects of stress. The music...
