A one of a kind treat by R. Roe 5 Stars

With the passing of Payne there will never be another CD like this. It's fun and the music is well done. I stuff it in the CD player in my car every time I'm heading out for a round of golf just to get me in the proper mood, that being golf is a great game not to be taken too seriously.

This is a great album and it grows on you the more you play it. Tragically we lost Payne Stewart a few years ago, so I don't think there will be another album. Get this album. If you are in your 40's you will relate with every song and be singing in the car.

This makes a great gift for any golf nut. I bought it for myself after Payne Stewart died as a collectors item. The music is good and the lyrics are funny. You'll find yourself singing the songs on the golf course. My father listened to it while visiting me and had to have a copy for himself.

I'm a golf-junkie, and along with two good friends in 1998, we started what we thought was a completely original idea. We created a golf-band and call ourselves The Divots. We released our debut CD, 'golfsongs' of original music and lyrics in 2001.We got an email from a fan indicating this along with Jake Trout and the Flouders CD were his favorites. We dug around and found out that Peter Jacobsen, Mark Lye, and the late (..and great!) Payne Stewart had done a series of covers with golf lyrics. I found the CD at a local Best Buy and picked it up. It is very well done and they have an allstar lineup helping them on each song. Musically its solid, lyrically its very very funny. Leonard Nemoy, John Daly, Darius Rucker, Glenn Frey, etc... If your a golfer, you'll love this CD. Also, you can check-out The Divots golf-music at www.thedivots.com

Eagles : The Very Best Of (2CD)

Eagles : The Very Best Of (2CD)
by Eagles

This packed double-disc is the slim option for fans who find the Eagles' vaunted greatest hits sets too little and the boxed set too hefty. Hit singles large and medium are here, often ("One of These Nights," "Hotel California") still sounding definitive and even tough. Large helpings of favorite album cuts are also included, along with a taster from a promised 2004 Eagles studio reunion. Unfortunately, "Hole in the World," Don Henley's response to September 11, feels just as empty and entitled...

Enjoy the Ride

Enjoy the Ride
by Sugarland

Sugarland, with the help of producer Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack), deliver the same ferocity on Enjoy The Ride. From the catchy coming-of-age kick-off single and chart-topping "Want To," to the reflective rocker "County Line" and the hopelessly optimistic "One Blue Sky," the combination of Jennifer's powerhouse country-soul voice with Kristian's passionate harmonies and deep-rooted musicality hits home, even if these two road veterans, each with a decade of...
