EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description The Smothers routines that Mother always liked best, including "Pretoria," "Tom Dooley," "The Saga of John Henry," "Mediocre Fred," "I Talk to the Trees," "Michael, Row the Boat Ashore" and "Daniel Boone."No Track Information AvailableMedia Type: CDArtist: SMOTHERS BROTHERSTitle: SIBLING REVELRY-BEST OFStreet Release Date: 03/03/1998 | Amazon.com Tom and Dick Smothers hit show-biz pay dirt by exploring the lighter side of brotherly competition in their musical comedy act. Combining substantial folk-singing skills with barbed comic repartee, the Smothers Brothers endeared themselves to "hip" crowds and mainstream audiences alike. That feat was a considerable accomplishment in the '60s, when the recordings that comprise this generous sampler were made. The tracks include such memorable numbers as "Pretoria," "Tom Dooley," "The Saga of John Henry," "Cabbage," "I Talk to the Trees," and, of course, "Mom Always Liked You Best." --Scott Schinder |

| 60's Classics by Lj Magic 4 Stars March 13, 2010 For all of us who are old enough to remember the 60's, this is a great reminder. A lot of the stuff on this album is directly related to the things we all hated & protested at that time. However, I bought this album mostly for one reason: CRABS WALK SIDEWAYS & LOBSTERS WALK STRAIGHT. I hadn't thought of this song in years, & somehow I got a memory about it & wanted to hear it again. It's hilarious & funny. The whole album is great, & it's a fun way to get a memory or two going. Enjoy!
