| Back up, here comes the Nerve Agents. by D. Fiacco (Albany,NY) 5 Stars October 13, 2007 This is probably one of my favorite hardcore/punk albums in my collection. I've had this for a few years but still listen to this as much as when I bought it. I like the addition of the cover track, "Evil", by 45 Grave. You can definitely hear the darker influential side on this album which is great. They were coming on the Bay scene in a big way back in the day. Too bad they couldn't keep it going. Eric Ozene is a great frontman! If you like this, check out Redemption 87. That is another great band from Eric and Jade ( guitarist of AFI ). Long live the Nerve Agents!
| | Lamanada! by Linda Batton (Bessemer,Al.) 5 Stars December 08, 2004 This band rocked!...It sucks that they broke up...Like alot of great bands...Why did they have to do like everyone else?...I guess I should be happy that they WERE a band...
Anyways...
I'd like to start off by saying...Thank you,Andy, for being a begger...If it wasn't for you...there might not have ever been a Nerve Agents...
...And everyone knows how bad that would be...For without The Nerve Agents, there wouldn't be that wonderful word...Lamanada...Yes...That word...The very word Eric made as he so melodicly sang the ending of "Next in Line"...And his beautifully sang lyrics...Along with very talent filled guitars, bass, and drums...
This band was one of the best...
And it's all thanks to Andy...and Eric,ofcourse...And everyone else too....but mainly Andy and Eric...
You get my point...
They rocked!...That's my point...
| | Punk at its best by Poop crap (Dirt) 5 Stars July 01, 2004 The Nerve agents are one of the best bands around. Their sound is a mix of hardcore and afi. Kick a$$. Loud and fast. Gets you going. This dude has an awsome voice! Buy this cd, its prob one of the best punk cds around!
| | Perfect Punk Rock by Grant McKee (Chicago, IL United States) 5 Stars May 19, 2004 This CD is one of my absolute favorite punk rock albums of all time, up there with anything from Dillinger Four, and...well, that's about it. Anyway, getting back to the Nerve Agents, this is their first full-length album and it rocks all the way through 16 tracks (including some nice piano bits at the beginning and end, plus a cover of 45 Grave's "Evil"). Every song is a complete scorcher, full of energy and a full-on rock fury with enough sing alongs and dance parts to keep any punker happy. If you're into fast punk (bordering on hardcore), you pretty much need this, as well as the rest of The Nerve Agents stuff...it's just too bad that there's so little of it. Then again, it's better to burn out than fade away.
| | East Bay Hardcore!!! by Regina S. Keller (CA) 5 Stars February 19, 2004 This band is real hardcore. One of the greatest ones around. You can definately tell theyre an awesome live band by the live pics of them (the singer looks a little scary & possesed on live photos.) Mix the sounds of Minor Threat & AFI(two of my fave bands ever)together & you would probably get The Nerve Agents. Awesome, 600 stars! Oh, it doesn't go that high, sorry. 5 STARS!

| The Nerve Agents by The Nerve Agents
Revelation: 73 The Nerve Agents began with Andy Outbreak (Model American) constantly begging Eric (former Redemption 87/Unit Pride) to start a band with him. Eric finally broke down and told Andy that he was only going to do this because he could not stand seeing such a pathetic looking kid down on his knees begging. Eric went home to his house, nicknamed "the Hot Zone" due to it's high bacteria count, and asked his roommate Kevin (former Big Rig/Goodfellas) if he wanted to join, and he did....
