One word : Perfect by Nick Rivelli (Monterey, CA USA) 5 Stars

I am a huge fan of Atmosphere, and this is the first album I heard from Slug and Ant. It got me into them years ago and still rotates in and out of my CD player. I own every album by these guys (not including the earlier Sad Clown Bad Dub releases), and this one is perfect. From beginning to end, it keeps you sucked in and intrigued. With lines like "In tomorrow I see no promise, and yesterday was like today", how can you go wrong. Or "Time is money every moment is costly, so i ration emotion, cause existence exhausts me". They're All Gonna Laugh @ You might very well be one of the better hip hop songs ever written, and this album falls into one of the best hip hop has ever given us.

Classic by Firecracker (New Orleans, LA) 5 Stars

This is a classic and fabulous album. I own lots of Atmosphere, but this is the album that never gets old. It was the only CD in my almost-broken car stereo for most of last year and never got overplayed. I give copies of it to all of my friends curious about Atmosphere and no one has ever not loved it. The writing is brilliant and the beats are simple but funked up enough to always keep things interesting. If you like poetry via hip-hop beats you can't go wrong with this album.

Great album, best Atmosphere album I've heard by Matthew Stovall 4 Stars

This album is an exquisite example of Atmosphere's versatility, both as a writer and a rapper. Slug's lyrics are more than most of today's typical rap lyrics; he incorporates character development and imagery, building a story as well as a song. On such songs as "Aspiring Sociopath" and "Woman With the Tattooed Hands", Atmosphere shows their ability to match the mood of the lyrics with a beat. Other songs, such as "Guns and Cigarettes", show Slug's versatility, as his lyrics go from self-loathing to mockery, then to character development. Some songs on the album weren't worthwhile for me, and I found myself skipping through them. "Don't Ever F------ Question That", "Tears For The Sheep", and "If I Was Santa Claus" tarnish the otherwise impeccable album. "The Lucy Ford EPs" is a must-have album for anybody who appreciates good music.

Not their best by Brandon Smith (minneapolis,MN) 4 Stars

I love Atmosphere alot and all of their work including this album. I just dont think its their best LP out there. I still give it 4 stars but i dont think it can hold a candle to "Godlovesugly" or "Overcast". I would recommend this album to anybody anytime but if you are new to Atmosphere i would recommend picking up the albums i named first and get a feel to what kind of style and rhymes they kick. If you like it pick this one up. Once again im not hating on this album or saying its bad its just not thir best LP

You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having
by Atmosphere

Atmosphere's fifth album (not including rapper Slug's numerous side projects) isn't quite as consistent as previous CDs like 2003's Seven's Travels or Lucy Ford, but it's hardly lagging far behind. For all the attention Slug gets as a rapper--deservedly so, given that he, along with Aesop Rock, is a smarter, less pissy Eminem--producer ANT is as vital to this pairing as anyone, lacing the album with everything from the hard knock beats of "The Arrival" to the gospel-influenced charm of "Get...
