Plastic Surgery Remastered by Dr. Feelgood (USA) 5 Stars

This is also one of their best records, in fact they all were good in their own way. This record sounds better remastered, more depth and clarity in the recording.

I already paid for both AT albums on VINYL back in the 80s... by H. Hepler (Inland Empire, CA United States) 5 Stars

And now it's time to enjoy these staples of my youth once again with the CD player in MY FIVE GRAND STEREO! Don't delude yourselves into believing AT wasn't/isn't concerned with making money. I paid roughly $8 apiece for these albums back in the early 80s, so sorry kids; I've already done my bit for Alternative Tentacles. Buy this CD and enjoy it!

The definitive DK Album by Eric The Red 5 Stars

This is one of their greatest releases, and is a true masterpiece that is more appropriate for today than ever before. If you want to get into real Punk music there is nothing finer than this. Most of the reviewers already covered most of the key points so I won't reiterate them. I will say I almost got kicked out of school for bringing this album in when it was first released. The two main sentiments were: "How can you mock the Kennedys' haven't they been through enough." "Are you some kind of devil worshiping communist?" Needless to say that my parents didn't get it either. I still listen to this regularly, and it still has the same effect on the conformists who llooovvveeee American idol.

let's try this again ;) most of these manifesto re-releases have inferior, photocopied art work (it's blurry and hard to read all the details on the collages inside) and questionable remastering (it doesn't sound any better. i think it's "louder" than the old versions). "Give Me Convienance Or Give Me Death" actually sounds much better on the new edition( irelavant to this review....). All this aside...this is an amazing album. You need to get this if you like post-punk hardcoreish poitical type stuff but see about getting an Alternitive Tenticles version if possible unless you want a brand new disc or don't care about things like that.....there it is

The Best of the Bunch, So I Think by Raven Amorte (In the Aether and in the Other) 5 Stars

Plastic Surgery Disasters was the last DK album I heard, and my expectations weren't huge. Two songs--"I Am The Owl" and "Moon Over Marin"--established this for me as their best album. What comes through is the real musical talent of the band--so good that I could be transported through Biafra's Hepburn on speed lyrics and just enjoy the music.
