| PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by Mark H. Bernstein (Orlando,Florida USA) 5 Stars September 08, 2006 Hello I am a big Hypocrisy fan and I have followed Hypocrisy all the way from Penetralia to Virus Peter and Mikael will always dominate in Hypocrisy but the reason I mentioned that it such a perfect production and the albums keep gettting better.
Pain for on the other hand is the best thing to happen. I love Death metal but I do have a colletion of Madonna, Tracy Chapman, Johnny Cash, Destinys Child and other not so death metal but melodic music. So you all that havent tried pain out I promise you wont be disappointed. I dont know why it is so hard to find Pain albums but it is worth the work to find it and them.
Hail to Peter Tagtgren and Hypocrisy.
| | pain just got serious! by Phillip S. Shaw 5 Stars August 07, 2006 Were do I begin?? This is an incredibly addictive album that you wont put down for months, then when you do you will find it again three months later and listen to it compulsively again! An industruial metallists dream. Put yourself in a Cyber club on a Saturday night and that is what this album produces!
Pivetol song - "shut your Mouth" starts like a polyphonic ringtone but go with it 'cos you'll love it!
| | Pain- Nothing Remains The Same 4 Stars March 10, 2003 Pain's third album to date, "Nothing Remains The Same" is a techno trip that is similar to groups such as Rammstien and Prodigy. Peter Tagtgren is the genius of Pain, responsible for almost everything in the music end of the release. He is the Sweedish-Trent Reznor, but in my opinion he has more guts than the Nine Inch Nails frontman. The sound of Pains third release is the best of yet and the sytle keeps developing and improving. It's a shame America has not caught on to Pain yet.
| | Awesome CD!! by B. Nguyen (Houston, TX USA) 5 Stars January 19, 2003 I bought the CD after I heard the single "Shut Your Mouth". I was blown away!!! From the first track to the last, I enjoyed every single one. This coming from a fan of rock/metal/classic rock. I would say this Album is a combination of all three! If you're like me, don't hesitate to get one and thank me later. =D
| | Awesome CD from an awesome band by Homeless Joe (Vancouver Canada) 5 Stars January 02, 2003 I really didn't expect this CD to be as good as it is. I picked it up after listening to Shut Your Mouth, the single, and was anticipating a 'one good track' CD. But front to back, this kicks... It's a little hard to find since it's a swedish band that isn't mainstream, but if you can find it, do yourself a favour and buy it! Anything else would just be uberjewish.

Peter Tagtgren - musician, producer and creative brain behind Pain - is used to pushing boundaries. It's been a career that has involved fronting bands - notably Hypocrisy, and now Pain - or shaping their sounds - as he has done with Celtic Frost, Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir and Immortal, among others. He has been described by Alternative Press as "the Rick Rubin of Scandinavian metal." Pain is a solo-project in which T gtgren played every instrument, culminating in a sound that is...
