| It's just not Bile! by TermiteInYourCrutch (Orlando, Fl USA) 2 Stars December 23, 2005 I bought this album even though it didn't have any reviews and I can say I am that happy I did. I wasn't even aware that it was a solo album produced by the vocalist Kriztoff. It sounds nothing like Bile and in fact I am suprised they let it even use there name. Some of the songs are strangely amusing but for the most part it's just a bunch of abstract sound with some beats thrown in. Which by it's self could be all right, but combined with the cleaned up vocals and lack of aggression it just left me disappointed. The only two songs that I found to be tolerable were "venom on my breath" and "love Stinks". If you like Bile, buy a BILE cd and just pass on this one.
| | One of the best CDs I have ever heard by Rebekah Sue Harris (West Haven, CT USA) 5 Stars August 10, 2000 Bile has been one of my favorite bands since the first time I saw them, in NY several years ago. (I once drove from CT to Detroit for a show!) Frontman Krztoff shows his brilliance on this solo venture. I am SO thrilled that "Submission" sees the light of day, again!! I haven't heard that song, except live, and not for years. While Bile is an assault to the senses -- albeit an awesome full-frontal assault -- Krztoff's voice warms your body to feverish proportions. Have you ever had fried ice cream? It's so hot on the outside that you burn your mouth... and the ice cream is extra-frozen so that the frying doesn't melt it. And it's richer than cheesecake, and physiologically, it just shouldn't work. And it's an amazing combo. That's this CD, but it doesn't make your thighs fat.
