Eagerly awaiting their next release... by M. Winther (Portland, OR USA)  3 Stars

With K-12, Portland band Assisted Living offers a mix of tracks that really groove... hard. Check out "Awakened" (my personal favorite). My only reservation about this album it that the studio mix, in and of itself, doesn't really gel. (The drum sound is a little thin for my taste...) The music (in both conception and in execution) is top notch.
As for me, I'm looking forward to the forthcoming CD, which should be out soon. These guys deserve to be known.
