What initially attracted me to this CD was the presence of Audley Freed (from Cry Of Love) providing lead guitar on several tracks.
Upon first listen, I soon discovered that this was not all that this CD has to recommend it.
True, Mr. Freed is his typically smokin' self, but he has some really top-notch material to inspire him. The songs are extremely well written, with clever lyrics, barbed hooks, and infectious rhythms. This is one of the best CDs I've had the luck to find in 2007.
Give it a shot. Swim out of the mainstream.
