CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 16 reviews)
| Does what it says on the box by Straight-8 (Roseville, CA) 4 Stars July 06, 2009 A thorough compilation of the band's best known tracks. The remixed bonus CD was incidental in my purchase, but I guess it gives an alternative sound to those who want it.
| | One of the best cds i have by Silvana P. Casanova (Los Angeles,Ca- U.S.A) 5 Stars September 13, 2008 PLacebo... awesome music, this cd? a must have! good songs, they picked the right ones to go together. If you are a new fan get it, i did that and became a fan for live and went to see them in concert. Placebo rocks! too bad they dont have that many fans here, they have way more in europe.
| | great placebo compilation by blaccatz (sc, usa) 5 Stars September 22, 2007 Good mix of old and new - remixes of classic placebo songs - a must for any placebo fan.
| | Music To Your Ears by stephen Garry (Manchester England) 5 Stars September 20, 2007 This album is a joy to listen to and shows how many excellent tracks Placebo have made. The bonus cd maske this album worth buying to the fans who already have all of their albums, and the compilation is worth buying for the casual fan who liked a few tracks but who would never comit to a purcahse.
| | Without this, I am nothing... by D. Brock (San Diego) 4 Stars April 26, 2007 I've liked Placebo for a little while, but I dont have any of their CD's anymore. So I saw this little beauty on the shelf and picked it up. A pretty good mix of their best and a very nice remix disc. A frequent play for all occasions. I especially like the UNKLE track.

| Battle for the Sun by Placebo
2009 release, the sixth studio album from the British Alt-Rock trio. With a 13 year history that takes in five studio albums, 10 million album sales, breakdowns, clean ups and the dizzy swell of global success, Placebo return with their first album since the release of Meds in 2006. Battle For The Sun was recorded over three months by producer Dave Bottrill (chosen by the band largely because of his work with Tool) in his Toronto studio and mixed in London by Alan Moulder. Battle For The Sun is...

| Black Market Music by Placebo
The London-based trio Placebo carries on the modern-rock banner with this third collection of glam-influenced guitar pop. Black Market Music may not contain anything as immediately catchy as Without You I'm Nothing's "Pure Morning," but the dark hooks of "Taste in Men," "Special K," and "Slave to the Wage," with its Pavement sample, sink in deep after just a few listens. "Spite and Malice," featuring a guest turn from One Inch Punch rapper Justin Warfield, is a surprisingly successful marriage...

| Without You I'm Nothing by Placebo
This U.K. three-piece's self-titled debut often got compared to Smashing Pumpkins and Rush--Smashing Pumpkins for its unashamed mid-'70s prog-rock allusions and Rush because of singer Brian Molko's unusually high-pitched, almost androgynous voice. In reality, Placebo were far more salacious, downright dirty, and culturally confusing than either. (The band is a mix of American, Swedish, and English, with some Lebanese and Luxembourgian thrown in.) For their second album, Placebo have looked to...
