CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 5.0 based on 1 review)
| This CD is so awesome. Love, Love Love it! by Book lover Jennifer 5 Stars May 18, 2009 This such a fun and hip recording. Everyone in our family loves it. From the Hannah Montana Fans, Sinatra & Springstein Fan and the Pink, Gwen Stefani, Liz Phair Fan. This recording is nothing like anybody else. The Band is totally unique and so cool. Best songs are Mood Swing, Ipso Facto, Gypsy in My Soul, About Sex, etc. Their version of the Talking Heads hit "Burning Down the House" really swings. Their second CD "Second Hand Smoke" soon to be released is even better. Favorite tracks from the 2nd CD are: I Don't Want To, Like Young, Blue, Dude, She's Waiting

She's ideal for songs that usually revolve around old-fashioned romance; she tempers heartbreak with savoir-faire." -- New York Times *...

Impressive at every musician's station, this ensemble produces...

| Worrisome Heart by Melody Gardot
". . . in a place where Billie Holiday meets Tom Waits . . . has moments that recall pieces of Nina Simone, early Rickie Lee Jones, and even the sophistication of Cole Porter. " - Business Week Although there are elements of jazz, blues and folk in her music, it is simultaneously all of those things and none of them. Her engaging songs and sultry controlled vocals possess a timeless quality that places them in the tradition of the great female vocalists on Verve, whose work have...
