This record is like a 21st century answer to everything that was good about '60s pop -- tunes that soothe and rock out at the same time. Each song has its own rich texture of vocal harmony, pulsing beats, and meandering guitar riffs. The lyrics are sunny but not saccharin and there's even some very listenable space jams.
Catch these guys live if you can. They rock!
