A Pleasant Surprise by Saint Savin (US) 5 Stars
January 23, 2009
The only real low point of the album is, ironically enough, the title track. It's not bad, but it's a bit of a let down and somewhat cliché compared to "Breathing You In", the other vocal track. Most of the compositions are instrumental. They vary greatly in mood, bat are all patently artificial in sound structure and often surprisingly complex. I found this group (person?) through my Pandora account and went on to purchase more of their albums. Antigravity is a great starting point- it's accessible to fans of different genres.

Sweet sound, exciting and upbeat! by Hanzdefranz (Kansas City, MO) 5 Stars

I first heard one of Zircon's songs on Pandora.com and it really stood out to me from the mass of technolyzed songs. I listen to all types of techno such as Daft Punk, Crystal Method, Prodigy, and Hybrid to name a few. But, I really liked how Zircon took a lot of what I liked and combined it into a fresh sound. The sound quality is really fantastic and the songs are exciting and upbeat. And for $8.99 for instant download, its a pretty sweet buy. I will definitely check out more of what Zircon has to offer and you should as well!

This music is urban-slick, driven, smooth, sophisticated, and has the most amazing vocals I've heard since ... remember Celine Dion's song about Titanic? The combination is like fire and ice: great album.

This is classic Boards of Canada touched with acid-drenched folk music, atmospheric dissonance, deceptively tough alien beats and mindbending melodic creations.
