CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 77 reviews)
| Great singles, odd flow by Matthew Bamberg-Johnson 3 Stars May 02, 2009 I'm a huge atmosphere fan, but I'm still having trouble finding any one album that out-does "seven's travels." The title track on this one is great, as well as "saves the day," and "f*@k you, lucy" - think I need to give the rest of the tracks a second or third listen. Recommended, but don't expect a wall to wall hit-fest.
| | Fantastic by Dan Stofka (Denver, CO) 5 Stars February 13, 2009 I started listening to Atmos in 1999 and this is a great disc to get acquainted with the artist. Not a single bad track on the disc and I still listen to it all the time (its in my car cd player right now). I am buying it for the second time just to get the bonus dvd and this is an artist that deserves money from cd sales because he is just that good. So buy it, don't download it.

Moderate alterna-hop effectively straddles the line between mainstream and underground rap without alienating either group too harshly, although ultimately the final product feels watered down and lacking replay value.
| | A classic Album from 2 of hip hops best by Xavier A. Cadena 5 Stars July 06, 2008 Slug has a fantastic swagger mixing pain and jokes he is a great rapper and manages to lay phenomenal rhymes over every song.
And when matched with Ant's beats, consisting of strange rare samples, they create one of the most unique and most talented rappers in hip hop major and underground.
| | Strictly the best... by metdrie (Chicago) 5 Stars June 14, 2008 Atmosphere is one of those artists that always puts me in a good mood when I hear their music. Their style of wordplay and lack of gang violence and hood experiences makes this an enjoyable listen for many reasons. Hip-Hop/Rap was never intended to become what it was today, but a friend of mine from L.A. explained to me what happened to this genre in the early to mid 90's. So it's refreshing to be able to have options like Atmosphere to listen to amidst the over saturated market of noise and negativity. "God loves ugly" is a great album and after buying this and one of the Sad Clown joints I pretty much got carried away and bought almost all of Atmospheres music. It's that good in my opinion.

| You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having by Atmosphere
Atmosphere's fifth album (not including rapper Slug's numerous side projects) isn't quite as consistent as previous CDs like 2003's Seven's Travels or Lucy Ford, but it's hardly lagging far behind. For all the attention Slug gets as a rapper--deservedly so, given that he, along with Aesop Rock, is a smarter, less pissy Eminem--producer ANT is as vital to this pairing as anyone, lacing the album with everything from the hard knock beats of "The Arrival" to the gospel-influenced charm of "Get...
