CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 3 reviews)
| finally by Der Hammer des Kuchens (Kalifornia) 4 Stars November 01, 2009 It has been a long wait buy they've finally released a new album after so many years and it doesn't disappoint. This is pretty much the same ol' Bile with their crazy style of distorted insane industrial metal that would drive most people crazy and be loved by a select few like me.
There are 14 tracks but only 9 are real songs and the other 5 are basically nosies. All 9 songs are good with some being better than others but there are no fillers. One song that stands out is the song Hate Radio because it has that old time rock and roll feel to it but mixed with Bile which doesn't really sound like anything they've done before. Now the other 5 tracks, which eat up a lot of time, are just noises and sounds throughout in fact they sound kind of sound like something you would put on your stero to scare trick or treaters on Halloween. I gave this only 4 stars because it's been many years since their last cd and I would expect them to give us more than just 9 songs but at least those songs are good.
If you like Bile or distorted industrial metal then you should get this album.
| | Haven't lost a beat! by M. Baxter 5 Stars June 24, 2009 I've loved Bile for as long as I've been deaf. These guys are sick, and this album - almost a decade in the making - was worth every second. Songs like "Who the F$#" and "Dr. Depression" show that KRTZOFF is still the man. If you listen to the radio - don't bother buying this. This is the HATE RADIO!
| | Back with a Vengeance!!!! by Frank Rini (Maryland) 4 Stars June 04, 2009 It's been a very long time since we last had a new Bile cd, Demonic Electronic came out 7 yrs ago and this cd has been delayed for a while, but it has been worth the wait. Bile are not trying to reinvent their style, but what they do is so effective and brutal. Distorted guitars, fuzzy bass, distorted vocals and amazing drum programming and samples are what they do. This time around the band has achieved their cleanest guitar sound, but don't worry it's not commercial, still Bilestyle, just clearer/cleaner. Song's like 'World up your ***', 'Dr. Depression' could have been on Demonic Electronic, meaning they are fast, heavy and super mean sounding. Other standout tracks are 'Like the Plague', 'Hate Radio' and 'Who the ****'. Krztoff has done it again and has created a brutal industrial/metal combination that is 100% BILE. The only reason this gets a 4 and not a 5 is due to the last 4 songs that make up 28 minutes of this 75 min cd. Bassist/sampler R.H. Bear is credited with doing all these songs and all they consist of are samples/atmosphere and ambient noises, no singing/instruments. So they are throwaways in my book. I would have much rather heard BILE songs. Tracks 1-10 rule/11-14 are garbage. The cd itself is a very thin digipack that opens trifold w/lyrics/credits written on the digipack itself. A space saver for your collection and very cool. Hope next full length does not take nearly as long. BILESTYLE 2009!!!
