CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 3 reviews)
| Bedrock 11 unmixed by A. Robinson (San Francisco, CA United States) 4 Stars October 28, 2009 I bought the MP3 download off of Amazon and my version is unmixed, even though the album cover art says complied and MIXED by John Digweed. Did anyone else have the same experience? I know that there are two different versions of this album released and I think Amazon posted the wrong one. Other than that I love the tracks, but I will contact Amazon customer support.
| | Whoaaa there naaa by Kai (San Francisco, CA USA) 4 Stars October 22, 2009 Finally had a chance to obtain through my resourceful resources, a copy of the latest Bedrock label compilation mixed by John Digweed. As you probably know he had a very busy year. I suppose you come to expect a certain standard of listening when it comes to John Digweed. His style has never left the most reactive imprint but seemed to always suffice.
The early years of Bedrock were riddled with epic, artsy, flavorful house that was of course by design, moving. Always keeping with the latest releases by talent around the globe, new and old. His naturally gifted ear for music is what sustained him throughout his career and most certainly will continue to drive the essence of his mixes.
Tone Depth - Rumblefish, nice track!! Also appeared on GU Nubreed - Sultan mix....
Even a track by Christian Smith and John Selway - Daytona
I cannot believe that Marco Bailey (Jungle Laps) even gets a track dropped onto this compilation!!!??? Ever since Marco Bailey did Positive Disorder back in 2007, I've had massive amounts of respect for his approach. I've sort of kept an eye in that direction hoping to get another glimpse of his madness. Marco Bailey, I know has had a few EP releases over the past couple of years. He is a brilliant, technical mixer.
I do like the mix overall, it is not a favorite, nor in my opinion, sets any standards either. It is an overall fantastic mix and think that John has finally hit a plateau with this one.
LOL
