This is a great personal strobe light to have! If you are a "bedroom DJ" (or raver) or simply a DJ looking to light a small area, this is a wonderful strobe light to have, though if you are looking for a professional strobe light (for use at a rave or large party), I suggest that you look elsewhere. The strobe is lightweight and small. Very easy to transport. The only problem I have with this strobe light is the small power cord, so once again...if you're looking for professional lighting equipment, a short power cord probably won't suit your needs (though you can always get an extention cord). To enjoy the Strobe more, I suggest you check out the colored domes ("Big Shot/D" Model), and also, for the 1-15 flashes per second ability or the strobe, I suggest you find a spot somewhere in the middle for a dizzying effect.
