Angel Care - Breast Cancer Foundation volunteers proudly take flight again in their angel wings for our eighth calendar in 2010. Angel Care volunteers are breast cancer survivors trained to provide one-on-one emotional care to those that are newly diagnosed. Our role is to act as guides during the journey, offering the emotional support that can only be provided by someone whos been down this road. Our volunteers have become empowered by their own healing. Only survivors truly understand how you feel to be given this diagnosis. And, men get breast cancer too. Youll note our male angel again in this years calendar. Our living is a very powerful and positive image. |
