I have a 50-lb mutt who loves to chew things up, so I only let him extract the bees from the hive under supervision. That being said, he LOVES this toy. He loves to squeak the bees, remove them, and waits patiently for me to stuff them back in the hive. I think he might rip up the toy if I left him alone with it, but it's a great distraction that keeps him busy while I am doing things around the house! Highly recommend.

We've purchased hide-a-squirrel and hide-a-bee. Both products have provided hours of fun for our 11-mo-old Lab. He's a chewer, and the bees and hive have held up very well (going on two months now) despite regular play. I think the Hide-a-Bee hive is a little more durable than the "tree" from Hide-a-Squirrel, but both products are definitely keepers!

Our golden retriever puppy chewed through it in about an hour. None of the bees survived. Stuffing and fiberfill everywhere. Not worth the money for so little playtime. Maybe if you have a smaller dog, it would last OK, but for bigger breeds -- forgetaboutit.

My Schpperke likes to kill a toy before dinner. It's a 'thing' with him, part of his feeding habit. This thing is awesome, because he can dig parts out to his heart's content, and the little bees are very sturdy. He hasn't been able to rip one open yet, but he surely loves trying. Now when I go to pick up the living room, it isn't full of fluff, it's full of little bees. We both like it.

My dog LOVES this toy. He typically will rip any stuffed toy to "silence" the toy, but he enjoys pulling out the bees and running around with them. Highly recommend.
