Its not B+W, but then again its not that expensive either. It does as it says and it protects your lens. What more can you ask?

I primarily use this filter to protect the lens on my Nikon D40. I did drop this filter and caused it to crack on the edge of it. However the crack is outside the viewable area of the camera so it is still usable.
Works well, does the job for protecting the lens. I don't notice the difference in pictures regarding the UV filtering but it does keep dirt and dust off the lens.

If there is a light source any where near the lens, you will get glare.
