| The Classic Lives on and on by Geoffrey R. Balme (raleigh NC) 5 Stars April 28, 2009
Imagine sticking your head in a clothes dryer mounted with stereo speakers on the barrel. Bass - heavy walking riffs with whales of flanged feedback guitar soloing. I can't imagine the balls it took to do this back in the early 70s, and even today you have to stand back a bit and marvel at the audacity of the over driven amps. I don't know how to describe what you will hear on Rallizes Denudes albums - many times they start off even enough, simple garage rock riff, and then the whole thing is swallowed in swirling tornadoes of guitar amp hellfire. Forget all the legendary isolation, the early terrorist bass player, the fact that there's only been a handful of real albums - this is great mindblowing music.

After finding bassist Glen Ray, Loop signed to Head Records, run by Jeff Barrett (Heavenly), and released the feedback-drenched 12-inch, 16 Dreams.
