I wear hearing aids as might be expected by my purchase of this phone. While the phones certainly amplify the sound. All of the phones I purchased with this handset distort the sound to the point where it is unintelligible to me. I decided to give the entire set to my mother who also has a less severe age related hearing loss... and she is unable to use them either. I am no Luddite, I use a spectrum of current technology. They just didn't work for me. I am still looking for a suitable phone system for myself and ultimately for my mother. Given the price of the set I am not a happy guy.
