The Chromium Crusher lives up to its name and shreds whatever you put it in. The "CC" has substantial weight to it (compared to alum) and works well. The weight to the lid allows you to push down and spin the lid. Sometimes leaves get stuck in the middle requiring manual intervention - this doesn't happen on the bigger versions however. Starting to notice some discoloration from oxidation, but unit still operates flawlessly. - MountainGambler.com
