This unit is very good and effective and reasonably priced. However, it takes a 9 volt battery which they failed to mention in the description. The life of a regular 9 volt is very short with this unit. We wanted to get rechargables and that is hard to find except by ordering online. All in all, very good unit.

I bought this to help my husband until his back surgery. It worked great. It helped with the leg numbness and lower back pain and spasms. Our entire family has been able to benefit from the wide range of pulse selections.

I have owned this unit for about 6 months and am very happy with it. It has numerous settings, but the instruction manual helped sort through my initial confusion. I really like the timer and continuous readout, as well as the fact I can adjust every setting imaginable, from ramp up/down time, intensity, duration and total time. Plan to buy lots of extra electrodes, as they loose their "sticky-ness" fairly quickly. The conductive skin gel is a good idea too, as it extends the life of the electrodes.
