Product Description
The EZ Up Inversion Rack from Hang Ups® showcases a dual bar system that is designed for easier mounting and dismounting, and allows you to hang free from the door frame for maximum range of motion.

Amazon.com Product Description
The Teeter Hang Ups EZ-Up inversion rack offers a full body stretch and is a great tool for inverted exercises (like crunches, sit-ups and squats). Full range inverted sit-ups become ten times tougher than horizontal sit-ups--with minimal load on the back. It installs to the top of a door frame, but does not interfere with the function of the door, and takes up no floor space--ideal for cramped living spaces. The EZ-Up inversion rack is compatible with optional Teeter Hang Ups Gravity Boots. Designed for the fit and flexible user, it offers a safe and convenient method of full inversion. The dual bar system is designed for easier mounting and dismounting, and allows you to hang free from the door frame for maximum range of motion. Feature Detail: Sturdy materials assembled with bolts (no welds) Adjustable for doorways 28" to 36" Locking brackets are mounted with screws in the door frame for security. Locking pieces snap over the rack to keep it in place, but can be unlocked to remove the rack from the door frame. In place, the rack will not interfere with the operation of the door. Door savers help protect the door frame from damage. Easy-to-reach handles provide help to the user for moving into and out of the inverted position. Double-bar system places the user out and above the door frame for extra height and full range of movement. You don't have to bend completely in half to mount and dismount the rack. High-quality, scratch-resistant powder-coating Foam hand grips make mounting and dismounting more comfortable, and help prevent calluses and slippery hands when performing chin-ups. Weight capacity: 250 pounds Note about installation: The EZ-Up inversion rack must be installed in a solid wood door frame constructed according to national building code standards. Not impressed by ruminator (in silent contemplation) 1 Stars

These boots work well enough after you get them on, but they are a real pain to put on. The boots are made of very sturdy and relatively comfortable material, but the clasps are poorly designed and positioned. You really need three hands to put these boots on. It is so frustrating that it almost takes the enjoyment out of hanging upside down. The biggest problem with these boots is that in order for the clasps to properly latch down you have to make sure that the boot sleeve (around your ankle) is properly overlapped or the clasps will not engage fully. To make matters worse, it seems that the boot sleeves automatically want to go into the wrong position by default. This is where the third hand is needed. I'm getting angry just typing about how stupid this design is. The manufacturers could solve this problem by simply making the boot sleeve a bit longer so that it does not default to the "jam" position. I know that this is probably difficult to visualize if you have never used these boots, but trust me, if you buy these boots, you will want to throw them in the trash every time you have to put them on. Sadly, they do work well, and they are sturdy, they are just a freaking nightmare to put on. I would not recommend these boots to anybody, and I'm looking for a replacement.

Great Fun and Easy to Install by A. Salmons (Corona, California USA) 5 Stars

I got this item to stretch out my back, it works great! It was easy to install and the boots are very comfortable. Don't tighten them to much though, they work better if you leave them a little loose. This product came with a DVD which walks you through the install process and basic use. Great value and delivery was prompt. If you have bad hips or knees, or being vertical is not your thing, I look into the table version of this product.

Say 'Goodbye' to your Chiropractor! by M. Scardina (Concord, CA USA) 4 Stars

For many years I have been suffering from lower back pain as well as some occasional neck pain. Being a long-time distance runner this seems to come with the territory. Having visited a Chiropractor over the years, I noticed that I would require 'adjustments' more and more often to feel put together. After speaking to a personal trainer at the gym, I got the idea about 'gravity boots' and thus started doing some research. This is how I stumbled upon the Hang Ups EZ Up system. Let me point out a couple of things before you buy this system: 1) You MUST have a relatively strong core in order to use this system and CANNOT weigh more than 250 lbs. 2) The brackets used for the inversion bar require being ATTACHED BY SCREWS to the outside of a door frame -- i.e. The brackets are visible and permanent. 3) The first couple of times you use this, you WILL fumble trying to get up into an inversion position. All of these things being said, once you get this system down, YOU WILL BE HOOKED!!! The sensation of inversion is so relaxing and relieving that it is almost euphoric. You can literally feel your spine decompress. AHHHH!!! After a couple of weeks of occasional use (every other day for 4-5 minutes) my back pain is all but gone. My neck is noticebly looser as well. For me this was truly money well spent. One last word of warning: If you are not athletic, perhaps you should stick to an inversion table as just the action of getting into the inversion position is like a heavy-duty pull up.

Of little use to me at this time by eyez wide open 2 Stars

I have the F5000 table and purchased these hoping they would be more comfortable when fully inverted than the standard rig that comes with the table. I was wrong. These have the same painful pressure points and some new ones. Very awkward to put on straight and once you invert they start to poke, pinch and bite immediately. I can invert at least 5 minutes with the standard rig but can't tolerate more than 30 seconds with these boots. I am going to keep trying them. Perhaps they will break-in or perhaps I need to experiment with different snugness settings or using some talcum powder at the pressure points. If I find they become more comfortable I will update this review. For now, 2 stars only because they are a safe, secure way of hanging. Not more comfortable, though.

Not with EP-950 by Steve Patrick (Nashville, TN) 3 Stars

Boots looked like they would work well and were made well. They do not work with the EP-950 however. I noticed small print in manual after I had purchased them that declared that. I tried everything I could think of to get them to work but to no avail. According to the manual the conversion bar won't work either. I did find that karate foot pads work great to ease the pressure on the feet. Glad I kept them around over the last 20 years.
