For a container, it does its job of holding 3 gallons of liquid without leaking. But the irritating thing is that the spout design leaves more than an inch of liquid at the bottom so you have to tilt the container. It's not the end of the world but a sloping bottom would have been far better.

We use this container to hold water that we draw from a mountain spring. The large screw top makes the container easy to fill from the spring. The molded handle is a welcome addition because the container gets heavy when full (about 24 pounds). The container fits fine in our refrigerator/ freezer - a GE side by side model. So far the valve / spigot has worked ok. Its a very basic plastic valve that hopefully will hold up over time. I have my doubts. Shipping and handling fee is high on this item - - over $8.
