With Double Grip LT construction, the energY 380 Gamma is perhaps the ultimate game improvement tool for the intermediate skier who likes to cruise the groomed. With a lightweight construction this is the perfect ski for going out to ski with the kids. This is one of our personal favorites for the intermediate level skier looking for a ski that will have great edge hold while not taking a lot of work to use.
The Motion LT interface snaps together according to the proper boot sole length, then slides onto the rails, to be fixed in place by a centrally-located pin. Its light weight makes it easy to maneuver for all day skiing comfort.
Motion system skis have rails integrated in their construction, onto which a Marker binding interface slides, held in place by a high-carbon steel pin. Fixed by the pin, the interface can glide along the rails, and the skier benefits from complete freedom of ski flex. Easier flex means even, balanced edge pressure to the snow surface. The result? Better control through precise pressure distribution over the length of the edge, and better performance.
If you request the bindings to be mounted, please remember that they will still need to be adjusted to your boots by a certified Marker technician before they can be used.

Did just that on a sunny spring day in Tahoe recently and was glad the flex was so great. Not so much chatter in the IZ slush of spring because of it. I used 177CM and did notice they did lack the dead straight tracking of a longer ski at higher speeds; thus 3 stars.
