The real steel MP5 is a 9 mm submachine gun of German design. The MP5K-PDW is the Personal Defense Weapon variant. It sports a folding stock and 3-lug/threaded barrel for mounting of suppressors. It was introduced in 1991. It is very popular with special ops and law enforcement use. The Chinese Airsoft company Galaxy, has produced a top quality TM clone similar to the MP5 PDW. It’s solid construction and accurate rate of fire make it a formidable PDW style weapon on the Airsoft Playfield. The MP-5 is all the power you need and has a nice metal body. It is perfect. A good value.
I would get a backup battery. Mine runs down pretty fast and it takes 6 hours to charge.
At first, I couldn't figure out why the gun would not fire. It was loaded and the battery was charged. It was the fuse clamps. I had to squeeze them tighter and use some di-electric grease to get the current to go through. I thought the gun was broken, but it was just those contacts. It fires flawlessly now.
So get a backup battery and check the fuse connections.

High rate of fire, accurate, powerful, excellent quality. I recommend this gun as a good CQB or supression weapon. RIS would be nice, but not necessary.
