From time to time, as you think of something you'd like to do together, select one of the Wish Cards or write an idea on a blank card, and slip it into your side of the Wish Box. Have you ever wanted to plan the perfect date with your partner, but weren't sure where to start? Two to Tango doesn't take the work out of planning, but it can be a catalyst to sharing new things--if you're both willing to be honest, creative, and a little brave. The game comes with a two-slotted wish box and two sets of wish cards (not gender specific) on which each of you writes suggestions for activities that can be enjoyed together. Some of the cards are blank for original ideas, but many are preprinted with suggestions that you can expand on, like learning a foreign language together or planning a romantic getaway. Your wishes can be as amorous or as adventurous as you like, of course, but the real goal is that you'll actually do the activities together after you've shared your suggestions. The phrasing on the preprinted cards is somewhat florid--"The ping of the racket, the swish of skates on ice... let's make plans to go to a sporting event"--but once you get past the language, you'll find that the game can be a lot of fun when approached in the right spirit. |
