| Piece of Junk! by Jeffrey Laster (Tampa, Florida) 1 Stars October 17, 2009 The Trumpet is very poorly made and does not work at all. A total waste of money and a "ripoff."
| | toy trumpet by A. Jones 3 Stars February 23, 2009 I was disapointed to find that the trumpet had 4 keys, since a real trumpet only has 3. I understand that they need the 4th key to be able to play the song, but educationally, you're confusing the kids when they see a real trumpet.
| | Does not teach real music by Karyn Graves 2 Stars January 19, 2009 My 3 year old could play my husbands trumpet using the proper lip technique, but it was too heavy. So, we bought him this one. It's nice and light, but not at all like a real instrument. All you do is blow and you have to have a key pressed to make a note, so you are limited to 4 notes. Very disappointing and not educational.
| | A little disappointed. by Missouri Mom 4 Stars January 11, 2009 I was a little disappointed at first. I thought it was broke because it wouldn't play, but you have to have your fingers on the buttons to play the notes. It was a little hard to explain to a 2 year old, but in no time he figured it out and enjoyed it for hours. I also bought a saxaphone for my other nephew and it will get a better review. Overall my nephew enjoyed it, I was expecting a little better quality though.
| | Easy to play trumpet by A. Allison (Reading, PA) 3 Stars January 09, 2009 My son received this as an x-mas gift and loves it. It's easy to play and sounds good. Young kids can get the feel of a trumpet without having to struggle with playing clear notes. Great introduction to musical instruments for children.
