Bought this for my 6 year old niece. She loved it. It's a great toy to build. Encourages them to think and use hands-on. The end result is a great accomplishment.

Great craft for boys by Kit-Kat Mommy (North Carolina) 5 Stars

My boys loved this! It was fairly easy to paint and put together, and it is light-weight enough that they've hung over their beds. Even if it should fall it won't hurt them. This was a gift I would never have selected but when one got it, the other coveted it. So, it was his next birthday gift too. I highly recommend it!

this is a cool set becuase you get to paint it but my daughter insists that the poster than comes with it has one of the planets the wrong color. good thing you get to paint it! she is 8 and love the solar system, we have this all done and hanging abover her bed. its easy to assemble and paints nice but does take at least two coats. we had plenty of paint for it though. very nice but wish pluto was included.

My 5 year old son got this for Christmas. Although it was hard to paint, we found it easy to assemble and hang. He loves it in his room. We were a little disappointed in the glow factor. We thought it would be brighter. Be sure to use ALL the glow paint. Just keep caking it on!!

My daughter used this in the 8th grade. She had to add moons and Pluto but overall it was a good place to start. (and she got an A)
