I ordered this product and another similar one for a special reason: to use in raising funds for a wheelchair lift/elevator and ramp for a non-profit community theater whose mainstage is accessible only by climbing about 10 stairsteps on the outside and a winding, two-level staircase on the inside. This theater, Renaissance Theatre at historic Lincoln Center in Huntsville, Alabama, has performers and patrons for whom these stairs are insurmountable. I am trying to get a volunteer to build a model using these "toys" and the stairs to picture the frustration that we all feel in enabling these patrons and performers to enjoy the wide variety of excellent productions that others can. Of the estimated $30-$35k cost of the lift and outside ramp, we have raised a little more than 33% . . . but I'm not giving up! Will try some grant possibilities and more matching gift funds, fundraisers, etc., soon. Any help/suggestions appreciated!
