CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 3.0 based on 6 reviews)
| What the heck? by K. Cotter (New York) 1 Stars February 15, 2009 My family has played this game for years. I was excited to purchase the Rook 100th Anniversary Edition. Well, the cards are not sized correctly. For some reason they are a little wider than a standard deck. Also, these are very poorly made. The plastic coating is non-existent, and there is no "linen" in the cards at all. They dog-ear after a couple of rounds of play. Possibly the worst deck of cards I've ever had the displeasure to use.
| | Rook 100th Anniversary Edition by L. Haga 3 Stars August 15, 2007 Cards were supposed to be tournament quality cards. I don't feel like they are any better than the sets you can buy at the stores, not like the older 80th anniversary sets that were real tournamnet cards. Still they the cards are fine to play with but just not what I expected.
| | Hours of entertainment. by Sharon D. Keith (Tn) 4 Stars May 18, 2007 I was about to give up on find a decent set of Rook cards. I have 3 sets of friends that like to play rook, The cards you can purchase at department stores doesnt compare to theses. We have had hours of entertainment with them and they hardly look worn.
| | Great Rook Deck by M. Miller 5 Stars February 15, 2007 This is a nice, old-fashioned Rook deck. The numbers are easy to read, the colors are vibrant and easy to see. The counters even have a star code to help you remember their point value. For veteran Rook players who prefer the older versions of the game, this deck is great.
| | Not as advertised by M. Selby (North Myrtle Beach, SC) 2 Stars January 16, 2007 These cards were supposed to be tournament quality. They weren't. My $5 Rook cards purchased at Walmart are higher quality! I was also dissappointed by the fact that the deck I purchased was missing the Red One. Returned the set I purchased for myself as well as one that I had purchased as a gift for my Rook-loving brother.
