My 4 year old son will not leave the house without this "bug box" in the car. He might need it when encountering bugs anywhere he goes. Every other kid that sees it asks to borrow it or wants to know where he got it. It is durable, can be cleaned easily, bugs are easily seen from all angles and the shape is easy for kids to carry and use.
The one bad thing is that smaller bugs can get out at the very top so you have to be careful leaving it int he house with bugs in it for too long.
I highly recommend this toy to any kid that likes nature.

My nephew is on the hunt for bugs constantly - and with this toy he now has the perfect spot for them. He loves putting them inside and could sit and watch them for hours. The constuction of the toy is very well made and it's really adorable. He actually brought it out during his birthday party last November and all of the kids were mezmerized.

This is a great bug habitat for children ages 3 to 6. It is great for the little ones to collect different bugs and then look at them with the little magnifying glass. Really fun for small children. It is also educational for that age catagory.
