Thank goodness there's an adapter for this! We started out with the Click Start with batteries only, and it's a very power-hungry device. I personally think the adapter should be included in the Click-Start package, but it's cheap enough I guess. We've had it for over a year with no issues - works great!

The adapter was bought for the click start game. We prefer using the adapter over use of batteries. It has been working just fine.

After reading the reviews I thought the adapter was necessary.
If you like spending your money you can use batteries, but it's really worth it to buy the adapter, it will pay for itself & you don't have the trouble of installing batteries every couple weeks.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my three year old. My older son did just fine learning on an ordinary computer. I thought this would be even better. It is useless. Especially the mouse. I could not use the mouse as an adult. No way is this a meaningful training tool for a kid. Totally frustrating experience for my son.

Don't use the product without the ac adaptor. You will have to replace batteries too often.
