| Great Stocking Stuffer by Who Let the Dogs Out? (Texas) 5 Stars November 18, 2009 I bought this for a child's stocking stuffer. When I opened it, it looked pretty cheap, so I was surprised at how well it works. I snapped two AA batteries in the toy and tried it out. You must lay the end of the microscope flat against anything you are doing to look at. The view is truly marvelous! Ordinary things become amazing. For example, when I looked at a tablecloth, you could see the fibers in the threads. I couldn't put it down. This is sure to be a delight for any child. Only time will tell how durable it is.
| | nice for the money by Mark Godfrey 5 Stars October 23, 2009 Very inexpensive, seems to do the job just fine.
One odd thing is that the image is reversed, so it does make it hard to move to the target sometimes, but you get used to it. Not sure if all microscopes do this (ie., the more expensive ones). Maybe they all do it.
In any event, for $5 you can't beat this item.
| | Cheap and crappy by Big Montanna (Hollywood, CA) 1 Stars May 16, 2009 This thing doesn't work well at all. I can get it to kind of work if I hold it right up to certain things, but not most.
| | cheaply made, did not work by krf (Texas) 1 Stars April 05, 2009 The title of this review totally sums up my experience with this product. It did not work at all, even after replacing the batteries twice.
| | happy by Jason G. Charles (Muskegon, MI) 5 Stars March 11, 2009 very prompt, as a matter of fact, they sent it out a lot faster than amazon sent my other order...
