Awesome mind-bending game by Karribdas (Los Angeles, Ca United States) 5 Stars

A great cooperative game, Pandemic forces you to work together to think many steps ahead. A just when the end is in sight, tends to be when everything erupts into chaos! Hours and hours of fun. The cooperative nature of the game keeps people focused on the board, not on competing with each other.

a great board game by J. Sanderson 5 Stars

I came across this game at game night over at a friend's house and was pleasantly surprised. The game feels somewhat similar to risk just because of the form of the board and placement of the peices and general strategies involved. But gameplay is cooperative which eases some of the less attractive emotional displays that competitive games can evoke. The game can still be intense, however, as there is a fair balance between good strategy and luck. Victory or defeat is determined mostly the choices you make, but the element of chance is still very present. The game is also very challenging depending on the number of players and which roles you draw at the beginning of the game. The first three times we played, on the medium difficulty level, we lost. But the difficulty makes victory that much sweeter, and no one feels bad for losing since the loss is shared among all the players. In fact, even though we lost every game that night, I still had enough fun with the game that I ended up buying it that same week. Overall, its a great board game that allows you to have a good time with a group of friends. The only downside to the is that its restricted to 2-4 players, and if your group is larger than 4 you may have to have other options for games.

A unique fun board game experience by Luis R. Diaz Jr. (Miami, FL) 5 Stars

Heard about this game on different websites and it got rave reviews from [...] so I thought I'd give it a try. What an interesting and unique game. The mechanic is one I haven't seen before. You and your friends work together toward a common goal. You either all win or you all lose. There are no ties and therein lies the fun! My wife and I played it for the first time and I know she wasn't too into it when we first started but when we started wiping out diseases and finding cures I could tell her interest had been piqued. And then the epidemics broke out right before finding the last cure and she says, "We're so close!" I knew she was hooked. A great co-op game, not too hard to explain, and with the expansion being released should provide plenty of fun for a long time to come.

What a great game. Can't wait for the expansion to come out so I can buy that. Every game is different than the last, and it's quite a mind challenge. Excellent.

Great game that requires cooperation among the players rather than competition. Challenging, not impossible. At least at the "easy" level. I've not graduated to "normal" or beyond yet...
