Great Game for two by EeBee (New Mexico) 5 Stars
November 17, 2009
This is a great game for even just two people. A little confusing to set-up and the first time through, but once you figure it out its a blast. Haven't played with more than two people yet, but I imagine it would be just as fun.

We are giving it as a gift so we have not used it, but it arrived in a timely manner and looks like it's in great condition! Thanks!

It's popular for a reason by Brian V. Pennington (nc) 5 Stars

When I tell my friends (who think board games are either monopoly or scrabble) lets play a game about farming, they all laugh and say it doesn't sound very fun. After a few games, they all ask me when the next time we'll be able to play Agricola. Rules are easy to explain to others, and playing can feel tense when trying to make the best moves or create the best strategy for your farm (or feeding your family). Overall very fun, read other reviews, check on [...], it's the number one game for a reason.

Although, we have only had the opportunity to play this game once, it is a great strategy game for older kids and adults. We're looking forward to playing it again :)

I played this game last night with four of my friends. The game is great. It was enjoyable to play. My only beef with this game is that they don't come with enough pieces for 5 players. After round 7 we were using Reed to replace the sheep pieces we had run out of. This happened for almost all the food, grain, and veggies. Aside from that one thing, this game is perfect.

Dominion

Dominion
by Rio Grande

In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end. You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant kingdom of rivers and...
