TP Sport-Race Series LiPo packs are different from Thunder Power's other lipoly packs because they are surrounded by a special impact resistant hard case. For use in competitive racing, the official Remotely Operated Auto Racers (ROAR) specifications require a factory installed hard shell around all Lithium Polymer battery packs for impact resistance. These new Thunder Power packs meet ROAR requirements.
