EDITORIAL REVIEWS | Product Description Super Mario Galaxy Wii |
CUSTOMER REVIEWS (Average Customer Rating: 4.5 based on 484 reviews)
| Best Wii Game I've Played! by J. A. Sandoval (Austin, TX) 5 Stars November 19, 2009 I have to say that this is the best Wii game I've played yet! The storyline isn't necessarily all that novel or interesting (and it's a bit childish at times) but the gameplay is awesome. The controls are relatively easy to pick up, especially if you've played past Mario games (like Mario 64). It's not incredibly difficult, but some of the levels and bosses do provide a challenge. The large numbers of worlds and levels will keep you playing for a while, as well as the need to return to past levels to collect "star bits". The best feature is the clever use of "gravity" that allows you to walk all the way around spherical "planets"...it's a great twist on a classic game.
| | Mario SUPER by Anthony R. Mauro (oakville, ontario, canada) 5 Stars November 18, 2009 Mario galaxy is a very good game and has no evil or blood which makes it less violent and even more fun then T rated games! I have a great 10 and 8 year old who fights for the player one remote! I tell you, if you want this, then you better get it!
| | Too difficult and annoying! by Vida (Omaha, NE) 1 Stars November 15, 2009 I see that this game has gotten so many rave reviews, but I just don't get it, I really hate this game. The game is annoying because you have to sit through so much drama without getting to play anything. Finally when you do get to play it is too hard and the camera angles shots are not always great. I don't play too many video games now a days, but I used to play a lot when younger and loved the old Nintendo and Sega games. On this game I cannot even get past the first planet with the bunnies, I'm not even able to catch one of the darn things, I don't see how younger children are able to play this.
On the other hand, my husband can do it easily and gets pretty far and really enjoys this game.
I guess it is not for everybody, you either love it or hate it.
We both really love Mari Kart, it is tons of fun.
| | love it by Betty J. Wilkins 5 Stars November 07, 2009 its Mario , so whats not to love , I plan on ordering super mario galaxy 2 , I really like the original marios better but this is a very good game , it just hard for any mario games to compete and top the 1st ones
| | Fun by Joe Smoe (Pittston PA, USA) 5 Stars November 01, 2009 I love this game its defiantly worth the $$$ i think the graphics are amazing but I kind of miss Super Mario Sunshine i wish the had done some sort of sequel to that like they are with this one. Great game though!!
