These are great features, but the real revolution involves Plantronics' exclusive Multipoint technology, which allows the headset to function as a powerful communication solution for up to two Bluetooth devices. With Multipoint technology you can switch between your voice-enabled Bluetooth mobile phone, PDA or laptop. The headset's "smart" technology knows which device you are using and allows you to take calls from any device at the touch of a button. With the optional Plantronics Bluetooth Deskphone Adapter you can even switch between your office phone and your Bluetooth mobile phone. I've had this for over a year now, and it still works great, battery life is still amazing, and if something happened I would buy the same one again. Great sound quality, nobody knows I'm on a bluetooth.

The earpiece works well. You can hear the other parties on your call very well. HOWEVER, the microphone is really quite poor. To the person(s) on the other end of your call, your voice will sound very muffled. Not worth the purchase price.

This is the second Plantronics Voyager 510 headset that I have owned. The first one was GREAT. So after 3 years it died and I made no hesitation to buy another one. But the new one is HORRIBLE. I literally have to hold my phone in the air above my head for it to work. I cannot move more than 2 feet away from my phone before it quits working. It has a constant static sound in the headset so bad that it is completely useless.

This headset is probably one of the best out there. I've owned it for quite a while, probably since it came out & I'm very, very happy w/it. My ONLY complaint is that I haven't found a case for it & I'm not comfortable leaving it in my purse. I don't use it in my car because my car is equipt w/ built in Bluetooth. I leave my car & turn this on & I'm in touch, easily. Definite winner.

This is my first bluetooth earpiece, and I bought this purely on the number of "good" reviews it had. I just want to sum up my experience in point form, to help future buyers.
Programmability - pretty simple. Put your phone on discover mode, turn on the headset and give it a minute.
Functionality - simple single press to connect and disconnect calls. If you want to transfer call from headset to phone and back, press and hold for two seconds.
Quality - volume is an issue. Once you start driving and ambient noise is high, it becomes very difficult to hear. I've had several people complain of not being able to hear me. I pretty much have the headset maxed out in volume at all times. The other issue is breakup or choppy signal..."you're breaking up". The voice activation "lady" who speaks to you needs to be way, way louder. Not sure if it's my phone or not. It works ok.
Battery Life - Not sure if the battery life is affecting the breakup or choppy signal factor. There are times I don't charge it for days and be fine, and some days it's choppy all the time.
Ergonomic - it fits nice, pretty simple to place around ear with one hand. But the earpiece should feel snug in the ear, and this headset just sits there and moves around. Possibly a factor in my loudness complaint above.
Overall - I am returning this headset. It's more of a nuisance. I get way too many complaints. For the price I paid, is this the best you get? Anyway, I'm going to look for a better quality one.
