At the Acropolis Convention Centre, Nice, France. Bone diseases are an important cause of ill health. The most common is osteoporosis which affects 200 million women around the world and accounts for billions in healthcare treatment costs. Other diseases are less common but cause bone pain, deformity and fracture.
