The Dana Centre Launches 2004 Programme

From breast implants to live heart surgery, cloning to Edinburgh-Fringe-style stand-up's - The Dana Centre is the only place in the UK where the public can meet with top scientists and discuss the issues that matter.

A select number of events will also be devoted to the concept of The Seven Deadly Sins - pride, sloth, wrath, gluttony, greed, lust and envy - ensuring that the Dana Centre 2004 programme is more exciting than ever.




The Dana Centre which opened in November 2003, is fast becoming the place where the hottest and most controversial issues in science are up for discussion in a free, relaxed and stylish atmosphere. Complete with a wired café-bar, the Centre brings science to everybody over 18 who wants a challenging night out.

State-of-the-art digital facilities link the Centre and its events with venues all over the UK, those on the Internet and everyone with a mobile. Online discussion boards at www.danacentre.org.uk allow those unable to attend in person to have their say on issues that matter to them.
