Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry

From January 2003 the Royal Society of Chemistry is merging J Chem Soc Perkin Transactions 1 & 2 to form: Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry.

Chair of the Editorial Board is Professor Ben Feringa, University of Groningen, The Netherlands.

The focus of this new international journal is to publish outstanding research in the fields of organic, physical organic and organic biomolecular chemistry making it a central publication for all organic chemists. It will retain its appeal to existing readers of the Perkin journals whilst broadening its scope and forming a core journal for a much wider audience.

Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry will bring together molecular design, synthesis, structure, function and reactivity in one journal. It will publish fundamental work on synthetic and physical organic chemistry and organic chemical biology as well as all organic aspects of: medicinal chemistry; natural product chemistry; supramolecular chemistry; macromolecular chemistry; theoretical chemistry; and catalysis.

Content will include: high quality papers; communications and topical reviews from the forefront of organic chemistry research worldwide.

Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry will be published 24 times a year and there will be free site-wide access with an institutional rate subscription.
