MEDIA INVITATION: The first European Vascular Genomics Network conference - Media briefingDecember 01, 2004CAMBRIDGE - On Monday December 13th at 12:00 noon, at the New Hall College in Cambridge (UK), the European Vascular Genomics Network (EVGN) organizes a media briefing in occasion of "The First European Vascular Genomics Network conference". The media briefing, which will be held on the opening day of the EVGN conference (December 13th-16th) will highlight the research accomplishments of EVGN first year and its most recent and forthcoming scientific results. New state-of-the-art research results will be presented on: clinical perspectives in endothelial dysfunction; atherosclerotic plaque destabilization mechanisms and therapy; use of stem cells to treat coronary heart disease; vaccination against atherosclerosis; postgenomics approaches to cardiovascular disease. Press representatives are invited to the media briefing. Participants will be available for interviews at the conference or via telephone.
