Festival Media Centre, Peter Chalk Centre Join Dr Ian Franchi and colleagues from the Open University for an overview of NASA's Genesis mission, ahead of the dramatic recapture of the solar wind particles, later in the day. 4.45 pm - 5.30 pmThe Genesis Recapture - live Newman Building, Lecture Theatre C Watch the events live as a team of pilots attempt to dramatically recapture the capsule of solar wind particles above the Utah Desert. Scientists from the Open University, who will be involved in analysing the particles, will be on hand to provide comment. Thursday 9th September 10.30 amUK Goes to the Planets Press Briefing Festival Media Centre, Peter Chalk Centre Swift - ahead of its October launch hear about the UK involvement in NASA's Swift mission which will study gamma ray bursts - Dr Paul O'Brien, University of Leicester. Update on UK involvement in planetary missions including Cassini-Huygens and Mars Express with Professor John Zarnecki, Open University and Dr Andrew Coates, Mullard Space Science Laboratory, UCL.
