The International Liver CongressTM 2016 is less than a week away!

There are only six days to go until The International Liver CongressTM 2016 and media registration is still open!

If you have yet to register as a member of the press, you can do so for free by clicking here: http://ilc-congress.eu/registration-ilc2016/.

The International Liver CongressTM 2016 will be held from April 13-17, at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

Abstracts

Most full abstracts (including some late-breakers) are now available on the EASL website. There is now no embargo on these abstracts and they can be reported on publicly. These abstracts can be viewed here: http://ilc-congress.eu/ilc-2016-ebooks/.

A selection of abstracts (including some late-breakers) have been held back for presentation as part of the official International Liver CongressTM 2016 press programme. The embargoes for these abstracts will lift at 07:00 CEST on the day of their presentation at the congress.

Official Press Conference Timings

There will be three official press conferences to be held at the following times;-
  • Thursday 14 April, 08:00 - 09:00 CEST

  • Friday 15 April, 11:30 - 12:30 CEST

  • Saturday 16 April, 08:00 - 09:00 CEST

International Liver CongressTM Press Office

The International Liver CongressTM press office will be open to registered media representatives only onsite at the congress. Media materials will be available in the press office and will also be made available on The International Liver CongressTM 2016 website under the press section: http://ilc-congress.eu/media-press/.

Press releases will be issued on a daily basis from The International Liver CongresTM 2016 press office.

Interview Opportunities

There will be rooms available for media interviews which can be booked in advance or onsite in the press office.

Interviews with an EASL spokesperson or investigator whose abstracts are chosen for presentation at an official International Liver CongressTM press conference can be arranged onsite at the press office.
