Applicability of dynamic facilitation theory to binary hard disk systems
Masaharu Isobe of the Nagoya Institute of Technology led international collaborators using event-driven algorithms to calculate the equilibrium states of 2-D hard particle systems at different pressures to determine if the dynamic facilitation theory was applicable to these systems. The results agreed with two main general predictions of the theory: that localized effective excitations facilitated relaxation and relaxation times lengthened with increasing pressure. (2016-12-07)

Allina Health study shows information sharing between health systems reduces tests
